Key Dates:
Early Voting through June 18th, Primary Election Day is August 4th
Early Voting continues at the Gloucester County Registrar’s Office from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday-Friday through August 1st. Election Day is August 4th, 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM at your usual precinct polling location.
Request an Absentee Ballot - return ballots at the Registrar’s Drop Box or USPS mail . NOTE: All mailed ballots MUST be post marked by election day (August 4th) to be counted.
Register to Vote/Update Registration no later than July 24th, 2026

This candidate forum included participation from 6 of 7 candidates running in VA-01 Democratic Primary. The purpose of the Forum is to inform voters of the policies and readiness of Democratic candidates to run against and defeat Rob Wittman in the general election on November 3, 2026.
The Forum format included a moderator who presented five questions to the candidates. The event was held at the Rappahannock Community College, Glenns Campus, in Saluda, Virginia, on June 4, 2026 and organized by the Middle Peninsula Democratic Committees.
